Inbound links / Internet Insider

Incoming Links

The ever-increasing effectiveness of inbound links is a topic that can demand constant attention. This is your traffic Secret, and is a two-fold source of it! If this sounds like rehashed material that I have already written about previously in my original Inbound Links page, so be it. But I have also learned a few more tricks, and at the time of this writing I am now on the first page, (no.1 in fact,) on Google Canada, for several keywords and terms.

Building Incoming Links however, is not the only effective solution to Search Engine popularity. Content plays a vital role in this arena, and the two go hand in hand when implementing a successful traffic generating strategy. Remember to use your own original content, and make it informative, well written and keyword rich, and also relative to your sites content. You can use an article type format using short paragraphs and sentences if you prefer.

Caveat: Create original articles/Information and keep it exclusive to your site! This means that you Do Not submit this information to article directories or blogs. This strategy is put in place to maintain your Website as an original information source. Think about that one Eh!

Now back to our original topic of building Inbound, incoming, or one-way links, whatever you wish to call them. They are basically just a link to your website, or are they? Even if your search engine popularity falters, they still give your site additional traffic, as long as people find them… Yes find them, and click on them. I have personally gained a lot of [combined traffic] using free classified ad services, as well as paid ones. If you can afford paid ads, use advertising services from high rank/traffic Websites. This not only can give you good traffic, but also boost S.E. popularity as well.

Do not use FFA mass submission services, as these do not work anyway, and they are generally frowned upon by Search Engines!

Note: Use your keywords to find high-ranking sites relevant to your own content. A lot of these sites offer paid advertising, and if you can write a good ad, they will supply a great amount of targeted traffic to your Site. They are also your source for Inbound Links! Also make sure you do not pay too much. $150.00 a month is usually way too much… At least it is for me.

Obtaining a great source of incoming links to your website is possible only through a constant and persistent avenue of being in check, with your own competition. Quite simply put, find out who is linking to your competitors, or other high traffic Sites in your niche. You will have to once again do your own homework on this one, but the payoff may surprise you.

Digital Point forums is probably one of the greatest recourses, as well as one of the largest Internet Marketing, Web analytical sites out there. The reason I did not include a direct link to one of their Inbound Links threads is because there are so many! Use their search function to find more information pertaining to inbound links. Link building is also one of the main topics and part of several threads on this forum!

Note: Do not trust everything you read on a Forum. There are a lot of newbie, as well as veteran scammers out there. A good rule of thumb is to take information more seriously, posted by people or marketers who have several hundred posts under their belt!
