Insider / Making Money With Free Offers

One thing that I have not yet really talked about yet is free offers, or free whatever. Many websites use this promotional type or four-letter language, and yes it starts with “F.” Many people who are Site owners / publishers still do not know how to use this four-letter word effectively. But once you gain the knowledge of it’s power, usefulness, and effectiveness, it can become an invaluable tool in anyone’s Internet Marketing arsenal.
From free newsletters, to free downloads to free smilies, most of us are attracted to that word both in a socially and business oriented manner. Everyone wants something for free, and the thought of coming away with a great deal is everyone’s dream, even if it involves the bragging rights of a “look what I found” on this site scenario. But for the most part, people, including your prospective website users, usually want to gain a certain relationship with someone they can trust before they commit. This is a very understandable human based emotion, which centers on that famous four-letter word that starts with “F”.
Free is a word that is sometimes overused, and misunderstood in the Internet marketing world, as well as the offline world. Many amateurs have used it with certain failure, while people who know it’s power and have experimented with its variables, have often seen certain success often times by chance. But there are a few sure fire ways to use the word FREE, as long as you have something of value to offer, and that of which, has at least some sort of reasonable demand or appeal associated with it.
Coupons and discounts work just as well online as off. When you have traffic to your Site that is “bargain aware” as most of us are, it is just a matter making the connection with your audience. This also builds a certain amount of trust with your clientele that can last for years if implemented properly. Even high-end Website visitors are bargain oriented and like to believe that they are getting a deal. Just look at some of the rich penny pinchers so prevalent in our society. You may even know a few. And as they say, “a penny saved is a penny earned.”
When you offer something for free it creates both an interest, as well as a certain curiosity among your Website visitors, or someone that is reading one of your online ads. Oh I guess that I must mention online ads, because they are probably the best tools available in which we can manipulate the “Free offer” strategy. Again, as long as you have something of value to offer that is free, and can include the word in you’re advertising, (be it free classified or paid search,) it is almost impossible to not make money.
Note: It is really easy to find free offers these days, and even use them on your website. Many of the big affiliate networks offer multiple freebees that you can always take advantage of. In other words, see what other successful sites are offering, and orient your goals accordingly. But if you find yourself in need of free offers and are a little confused, just do a Google search using the word free and some of your Niche keywords. This is an area of research that you can benefit from by using your own thoughts, ideas, and talents.
